Our home is a family home in a unique charm neighbourhood. Just 30 meters from the Seine River, our 19th-century stone house welcomes you into a peaceful green haven in the charming village of Samois-sur-Seine. Lovingly renovated over the years, the house has been adapted to suit our family life and work rhythm, shared between here and Paris.
We live here with our four cats, surrounded by nature and tranquility. The house sits within a tiered garden climbing the hillside, offering beautiful views over the valley and inviting spots to relax.
Nature lovers will feel right at home. The famous Forest of Fontainebleau is just around the corner — a true paradise for rock climbers, hikers, mountain bikers, or anyone who enjoys a peaceful walk among the trees. Whether you’re into bouldering, forest adventures, or quiet moments in nature, it’s an extraordinary playground.
Directly across from the house lies the Île du Berceau, a hidden gem for riverside strolls and idyllic picnics beneath the trees, right at the water’s edge.
The imperial town of Fontainebleau is only a 10-minute drive away. There, you can explore the stunning château and park, or enjoy the vibrant market days on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
If you’re heading to Paris, the Fontainebleau-Avon train station gets you to Gare de Lyon in just 40 minutes (every 30. minutes) from 5AM to midnight. The train line was recently renovated in preparation for the Olympic Games, making it a smooth and comfortable ride into the city. The Samois bus 3407 that leads to the rail station has a stop at 50m from the house. (except on Sunday)

• Courances, known for its magnificent château and exceptional French and Japanese gardens, a true haven for lovers of classical architecture and landscape design.
• Moret-sur-Loing, a medieval village that inspired painters like Alfred Sisley, where time seems to slow down along the riverbanks and under the old stone arches.
