Our small, but bright and cozy holiday apartment is located in Valdres, close to the Golsfjellet mountains in Inland Norway. It’s part of an apartment complex in a former hotel and mountain resort, Sanderstølen.
The apartment is located on the ground floor for convenient access and consists of a living room and open concept kitchen, and a spacious bedroom with a large double bed and a small bathroom with shower.There is sleeping space for one more person on the couch in the living room, but the apartment is most suitable for two persons, a couple with one small child or a solo traveller.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, cook tops, dishwasher, freezer and fridge. There is also a dining table with four chairs.
As our guest, you can use the swimming pool in the basement, the gym or the communal lobby with a fireplace, as well as the large terrace outside the building.
There is no washing machine in the apartment, but there are two washing machines and two dryers in a shared laundry room downstairs.

This apartment complex and former hotel is located in the mountain region of Valdres and Golsfjellet in Inland Norway, in a peaceful and area surrounded by beautiful scenery and some cabins. The immediate area is flat and childfriendly, with mountains within easy reach.
If you are travelling between Oslo /Eastern Norway and Bergen /Western Norway, Sanderstølen is a great place to stay for some days and discover the beautiful mountain region in Inland Norway.
This area is perfect for hiking, cycling, fishing and cross-country skiing (January - March).
You need a car to get here and stay here. Sanderstølen is located about 3 hours from Oslo and 5 hours from Bergen. The alpine ski resort of Hemsedal is about 40 minutes away. There is a smaller slope at Storefjerll closer by.
For shopping, restaurants etc , you can go to Leira in about 20 minutes, Gol in about 25 minutes and Fagernes about 30 minutes.

This home is only available for reciprocal exchange (no guest points), in 2025 only for non-simultaneous exchange, as our plans for 2025 are all set.
The apartment is child friendly, but due to its size only suitable for a small family with one child.
We don’t have pets ourselves, but two of our children have cats who stay in the apartment (only in the livingroom) occasionally. As a main rule we don’t accept pets during the exchange, but we might make exceptions, so feel free to ask. Please note, hpwever, that pets are not allowed in the bedroom.
This home is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, as there are some stairs up to the entrance and from the entrance to the apartment as well as a small bathroom.
