A comfortable 'cottage' - about 1000 sq feet - we're close to kayaking on the ocean and intracoastal and a couple of hours from the incredible springs of Florida.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier

Biking to the beach - 10 minutes/2 miles - there is a shower there to rinse off before riding further - We are close to the Mayport ferry that crosses the St Johns River to ride up A1A to the state parks there. A five minute bike ride to an island park in the Intracoastal Waterway - with a fishing pier and a kayak launch. Driving - 15-30 minutes north there are state parks and upscale places on Amelia and to the south 30-45 minutes- state parks and touristy places in St Augustine and going inland 2 hours you reach gorgeous springs and to the northwest about 1.5 hours driving there is the Okefenokee Swamp - all interesting and fun spots. Our neighborhood has a great Pizzeria (Davinci's) that delivers great pizza! and a small family owned Vietnamese restaurant and the best Thai restaurant this side of Bangkok (Simply Tasty Thai)! All within a couple of miles of the house. Bikes and Kayaks can be rented and delivered by local outfitters. Our kayak is available but you would have to transport it to the launch point.
