Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
This is a house to be comfortable in! Situated on a lovely spot in the middle of Snarøya it offers both tranquility and pulse. The house itself consists of 3 stories:
– The basement where there is a separate guest room with a private bath, along with entrance, hall and storage
– The main floor with a kitchen, dining room and lounge area as well as two bedrooms and a bathroom
– The upper floor with two large bedrooms (one master bedroom) and a bath
The house is very recently renovated and has top standard. Although we're a family with children living there it is still very functional also for other family constellations.
– The kitchen is more than fully equipped with almost everything there is – we are a cooking family :)
– There house is filled woth art and design furniture, of our taste of course :)
– The house has a lovely and very large private terrace (very secluded) with a small bathtub/jacuzzi
– Summertime the garden is filled with flowers and berries
– There is a big trampoline in the garden
– There is a big private parking lot for two cars
– The garden is fully fenced so that the little ones cannot go anywhere

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Situated on a small peninsula just outside of Oslo (capital og Norway) the neighbourhood offers a beautiful, calm and safe surrounding with water everywhere. The fjord of Oslo is running not far away and there are plenty of places to bath and swim. There are plenty of possibilities for nice walks by the sea or in the forest.
Still, you have very close to the city. It is only 20 minutes by bus and 12 minutes by car to reach downtown Oslo. The bus stop is only 100m from the house and it takes you direct to the city – from 5.30 in the morning until way past midnight.
Just 70 metres from the house there is a big and lovely grocery store whre you find all the food you need, and it is open from 07-23 (mon-fri) and 07-22 on Saturdays. Closed Sundays, but that goes for all shops in Norway – it is a local thing that you get used to. In Norway Sundays are for excursions, family and nature life :)
Wintertime skiing is just around the corner – within 30 minutes by car you could go both downhill and cross-country skiing.
Across the street there is a big playground for children that belongs to the local play school. It is fenced and free to use when the play school is closed – in practice this means evenings after 17.00, weekends and vacation times.
Last but not least – although a bit outside of Oslo we are very close to all famous sites, museums and other sought after places to go.

There could be a possibility to also borrow our 5 (7) seater Tesla Model S P85D electric car if the the circumstances are right. It comes with an extra fee if there is no reciprocal exchange.
We do very seldom accept exchanges or guest point for a period less than 10 days.
Noteworthy is that it is compulsory to order house cleaning after your stay. This does not mean that you should not clean for yourselves, but speaking from experience it is quite a task to clean a full house. All parties are better off letting professionals do this job. The fee is 120€.
