Beautiful 4 bedroom (8 beds total when including the sofa-sleepers in the living room and the artist loft), three bath home built in 1993 on Cascade lake by Donnelly Idaho. Notty pine interior, huge glass front overlooking lake and mountains. Fully funished and ready for fun! The cabin is 100 miles north of Boise, where we live. This is our second home, and therefor you can use the home in all seasons-pick your sport and time of year! We will be glad to offer the home for your stay and take our exchange time at a later time.
The newest major ski resort in the world, Tamarack Resort, is a short 6 miles away. Brundage Ski Area, one of the greatest ski areas in the nothwest, is about 20 miles out. The golf course at the Tamarack resort recently won acclaim as the best new golf course in north america. The cabin is on the water with a wonderful sandy beach out front. We are on the tip of the land extending into the lake, and there is miles of private sandy beach for exploring on this tip. other golf resorts in the facility include Jug Mountain and McCll resorts. Enjoy a dip at the local hot springs at Gold Fork.

We are on a private lane with two miles of sandy beaches undeveloped and wild starting twenty feet from the cabin. Deer and elk are frequent guests! Fishing is excellent. Brundage Mountain ski area (famous for powder skiing) is 20 miles-Idaho folks know this is the one to ski, not Sun Valley! The new Tamarack Resort is just 5 minutes away, offering one of the best views in the world for skiing. Salmon river salmon fishing trips are one hour north, Float trips on main salmon river or middle fork are close by-We prefer to float the payette river by the cabin for 3-5 hour floats. Hot springs for soaking are close by in all directions-Winter elk feeding stations can be accessed by sleigh only. Lots of hike-into only lakes nearby, with excellent cutthroat trout fishing. Hells Canyon is 1 1/2 hours northwest, and is quite a sight.
