Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Located in the world famous California wine country, our home is large (2,300 square feet) with three bedrooms, plus a fourth used as an office, and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are master suites. The house is on a professionally landscaped quarter-acre lot, with an in-ground swimming pool, a waterfall, and a child-safe treehouse in a private backyard. The street is very quiet, with very nice neighbors who will help you if needed.
Patios for lounging can be found both front and back. The front patio offers a view across Sonoma Valley to Sonoma Mountain (the living, dining room, and the bedroom that is set up as an office all share this view) .
The main master suite has a queen-sized bed, a walk-in closet, and a recently remodeled bathroom with an airjet tub for two, and a large shower. The second master suite has a queen bed and an attached bathroom. The third bedroom has a double bed, and the fourth bedroom is an office with wireless Internet (that covers the entire property), a dedicated fax machine, and plenty of desk space. All of the bedrooms have French doors that open out onto the backyard, and the office has a door that opens out to an outside walkway. In 2022 we did a complete remodel of the kitchen, including custom cabinets, all new appliances, and new countertops. The island is a stunning piece of quartzite stone.
Our central air conditioning can be welcome during the very hottest days of the summer, but we find that with all the trees and the pool that we only rarely use it. During the summer we use the gas grill a lot to cook, eating on our back patio next to the pool, perhaps still dripping from a quick dip.
We also have a child-safe treehouse in the massive oak tree in our backyard. It is well-built and large enough to accommodate four-to-six people having dinner (on the 8' x 8' platform, with a table and 4 chairs). A pulley system can be used to pull up a basket full of food and place settings. There are three separate platforms plus a landing, with the top platform offering incredible views across and down Sonoma Valley (the floor is approximately four stories off the ground). The bottom stairs can be pulled up with a pulley system to prevent children climbing up without supervision, and wire fencing all around the platforms prevents anyone from falling. It really must be seen to be believed.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Nestled in the wooded hills above Sonoma Valley, our neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. The only people who drive on our street are the people who live here, and the mature landscaping and unique homes provide a peaceful atmosphere. We are only minutes away from the historic Sonoma Plaza, two state parks, county parks with tennis courts and walking trails, Train Town (a must for young children), numerous world-class wineries, and many other sites and activities. We are also 50 minutes from San Francisco, 45 minutes from the beach, and a half an hour from Napa Valley wineries. But we believe the Sonoma wineries are much better!
