Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
A 10-15 minute walk from Ogunquit village, our light-filled, gracious shingle style home has 4 bedrooms, which comfortably accommodate 8-9 guests, with 2 full baths and a powder room.
The bright, sunny, open floor plan features a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a formal dining area with a table that easily seats eight, and a spacious, comfortable living room with floor to ceiling windows and lots of seating. French doors lead to a screened porch that includes a Weber gas grill, a dining table that also seats eight, and wicker chairs and a couch for casual gatherings and relaxing. A ceiling fan and porch swing make it an ideal spot for morning coffee, an afternoon nap, and evening meals.
The first floor also includes a bedroom with two twin beds, a powder room, and a laundry space with washer and dryer.
On the second floor there are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one with tub/shower and one with walk-in shower. Two of the bedrooms feature queen beds; the third bedroom has two twin beds. One of the queen-bedded bedrooms also has a comfortable sofa that can be used to sleep a ninth person, if needed. Also on the second floor is a loft area with cozy seating for reading and relaxing.
And although in Maine you hardly ever need it, we do have central air conditioning. There is parking for 4 cars, and an outdoor shower. To ensure that the property is kept guest ready there is a $275.00 cleaning fee.
No smoking and no pets allowed.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
The Native Americans were right when they named this town "Beautiful Place By The Sea." Ogunquit is all of that and more. This beautiful village has retained its "old Maine" charm and it is the perfect vacation destination.
Beyond the natural beauty of Ogunquit is a thriving Arts Community. Considered to be one of the most beautiful small museums in the world, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art is open from June to mid-October. It has a fine permanent collection and annually presents several exhibits. Gallery talks by noted artists and writers and exciting musical events are also part of their summer program. The Barn Gallery is a Collaborative and features many local artists. Workshops, recitals and a film series are scheduled throughout the summer. We have theater here in town, too. The Ogunquit Playhouse is one of the last remaining Equity Summer Theaters in New England. It continues to provide outstanding live entertainment, presenting 4 or 5 shows a season.
Ogunquit is a walking town with flowers everywhere. A 5 minute walk from the village is 3 miles of sandy beach, regularly voted one of the ten best in the U.S. The Marginal Way with magnificent views of cliffs and ocean is a walk along rustic paths that runs from the village to Perkins Cove. Perkins Cove is a "must see". The local lobster men moor their boats in the Cove and the excursion and charter boats dock there as well. The Cove is filled with old fishing shacks that have been converted into shops, galleries and restaurants. With breathtaking views it is easy to understand why this part of town was the heart of the community for so many years.

Le mot de la fin
During the summer months, Ogunquit has a trolley service that shuttles throughout town. Ogunquit's location is ideal for day trips north or south in Maine, a visit to Portsmouth, NH and the lakes region in New Hampshire or a "big city" trip to Boston.. All are all fun and easy. There are three convenient airport options; Boston, Portland, ME and Manchester, NH, and there is an Amtrak train service from Boston to/from Portland that stops in Wells, 5 months north of Ogunquit.
