Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Our home is a very well kept, cosy and airy flat in the very center of Noerrebro - in our opinion - the most lively, multi-cultural and interesting neighbourhood in Copenhagen (so we think). A few years ago, we renovated the flat - and especially the beautiful kitchen with access to the balcony and the bathroom with a large tub are enjoyable places.
The newly decorated and bright smaller bedroom and the large livingroom are relaxing areas for the adults, but we also we have equipment for teenageres and youngsters in the other end of the house where 2 large bedrooms, both with master beds.
All in all we can easily accomodate 6 adults in 3 double beds.
Our home is just 15 minutes from seaside activities and 20 minutes from the most splendid beach
Our home is decorated with a mix of expensive mainly Nordic furniture and things found on markets, mainly in Sweden and Denmark. However, we like the rooms to be airy and light, and we hope that you find yourselves at home here.
Please notice that we have a cat in our home. She is very friendly to everybody and easygoing.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
We live in the very center of Copenhagen, on Noerrebro - the area is well-known for its various cultural activities, but our flat is situated in a sideway with very little traffic, but with space for a car just outside the entrance door.
Copenhagen has developed positively in the last years; there are now plenty of places to enjoy outdoor activities for free, such as the habour bath just 2 km away, interesting walking/running paths and citybikes for tourists to borrow.
From our flat, we have a nice view to the park where sunbathing and open barbecues are welcoming activities in summertime.
Here you will also find a children's playground and a soccer- and basket field. In the daytime, the playground is looked after by staff and the children can borrow bikes and toys.
The park ends up in Assistens Churchyard. Many famous Danes (amongst others H.C. Andersen) are burried here and there are often (very cheap) guided tours around the cementary.
From our kitchen and balcony, you can overlook our courtyard with children's playground and tables, chairs and barbecues available. At the moment part of the yard is under construction...
We have 4 bicycles for adults and 1 for a (teenage-)child, as well as a caravan bike suitable for transporting both goods and smaller children.
And you are of course welcome to borrow these while you are here.
By bike it is easy to go to Faelledparken (1 km away), a big park that has a free, outdoor swimmingarea, open from May - September.
Just 20 meters from our flat, you will find a variety of restaurants, bars and cafees and we have shopping areas within 300 meters.
2 minutes walk away, there are busses going to fx Tivoli (10 minutes away), Nyhavn (about 15 minutes away) or Raadhuspladsen (10 minutes away).
3 minutes walk from our flat, you will find the metro, “Nuuks Plads”. By metro you’ll be in the city center within 12 minutes and adding another 8 min. you are on the beach (Amager Strandpark), a beach suitable for families as well as surfers and other water sports.
We've lived here for more than 25 years, and in that time the area has changed a lot. Noerrebro and especially the "Inner Noerrebro" where we live. It now has a huge range of restaurants, non-expensive quality cafees and shops. But still there is an atmosphere that fits the mix of cultures and origins that is so attractive for our "hood".
